Steriltom is a family business founded by Dario Giuseppe Squeri in 1934 in Piacenza specialized in the production of tomato pulp and peeled tomatoes for the Food Service and Industrial sectors. In the 1980s, the adoption of new technologies made it possible to diversify production. The company is characterized by the use of aseptic technologies applied to the various stages of the production process.

All the production is concentrated inside the Casaliggio plant, in the heart of the province of Piacenza, the first in Northern Italy for tomato production. The proximity between the place of cultivation of the raw material and the place of processing allows to reach some business advantages: an excellent quality of the tomato that arrives in the plant without having sustained long transport; a fruitful collaboration with local agricultural producers; a careful selection of the raw material; the support of start-up projects and investments shared with local agricultural producers.

Today the company is the largest producer of tomato pulp in Italy and in Europe. Steriltom also operates in Asia, America and Africa thanks to the high quality and competitiveness of its products. The solidity acquired over the years on the international markets consolidates the image of the company, now a point of reference for the food industry and catering.
